The Lady Falcons: Postseason Preview
The Lady Falcons: Postseason Preview

First year head coach, Grant Wilson, has kept a young Lady Falcons team playing with poise and determination throughout the regular season. Those are the attributes that they’ll continue to lean on with the postseason tournament just around the corner. Like our boys team, the Lady Falcons played a strong regular season schedule with games against perennial powerhouses in Lake Ridge Academy and Laurel School. Those games against some of the top competition in Northeast Ohio did not discourage the girls, but rather empowered them to grow as a team and as individual athletes. Their hard work and determination was best seen during a come from behind victory against D1 - Lorain High School. In that game the Lady Falcons were down 10 points after three quarters but they refused to throw in the towel storming back to win by a final score of 54-49. The outcome of that contest left the Lady Titans from Lorain in shock, but the Falcon faithful took the victory in confident stride.

The Lady Falcons take their 12-10 regular season record into the playoffs and are looking forward to the challenge! Their regular season record and strength of schedule were enough that they earned a bye in the first round of the playoffs and the privilege of hosting a their first game! That game will be played here at Lutheran East on Saturday, February 25th at 1 PM. If you’re in the area, we’d love to see you here to cheer the Lady Falcons on to victory!
