This week at Lutheran East we had a special chapel brought to us by Bronson Landrum and Daniel (AMP) Patterson.  Our boys' basketball coach, Ron Calhoun, arranged for both men to be in our chapel.  In an interview conducted by Bronson Landrum, we learned first-hand about Daniel Patterson's testimony as to how he became a Christian rapper.  He even performed some songs for our students during chapel.  What a blessing to have students see how God works in the lives of his people to bring about blessing in the midst of the suffering of this world.

We also have a very meaningful assembly where students learned the value of life as God sees it through a speaker, Jannique Stewart from the Life Training Institute.  Ms. Stewart gave students a lot to think about with regard to abortion and to the value of every human life.  We thank Ms. Stewart for coming to speak to our school.
