Lady Falcons Win Again
The Lady Falcons beat the Max Haye Lakers 3-1, with scores of 25-19, 26-24, 22-25, and 25-20. The Lady Falcons and Lakers were back and forth the first half of the set. Destinee Thompson then served 5 straight points to put us up for good in the first set. In the second set the Falcon's were down early, but came back from 20-15 to win 26-24, The Lady Falcons were led in serving by Victoria Montgomery in the second set. In the third set Max Hayes stole a set from the Lady Falcons. Jeri Pollard and Kamilah Dotson led in serving. In the 4th set the Lady Falcons started down 5-0, but fought back and finished the set strong. Marie Johnson set well the last two days in place of injured Amber Campbell. Briana Waller also stepped up well in that absence. There are a couple of changes this upcoming week. There is a make-up game vs. Open Door on Monday September 16th.
