2015-2016 Year Starts With Largest Student Body in 40 years!
2015-2016 Year Starts With Largest Student Body in 40 years!School has already been in session for two weeks! It is hard to believe that the academic year is off to such a great start. At the opening of the school year, Lutheran East had 247 students attending classes. That is an unbelievable improvement in enrollment in just the last few years. The understanding of who we are as a school is spreading among the community, and parents have chosen to have their students be a part of this unique experience here on the East side of Cleveland. What’s more impressive is the chapels that we have been able to have. Of course, we have the talented Mr. Lipford leading our worship, but this year we also welcome Mr. Wills who is not only assisting with chapel worship, but he is a full-time religion teacher. We have enough students that we can once again have teachers who can be devoted to teaching the Bible to our students each day. This is beneficial on the spiritual level, but also on the academic level by freeing up our other teaching staff to offer electives in their academic disciplines. We are excited on many levels this year, and top on the list is that we have so many students who will experience Christ in their lives. Those many students also allow us to enrich our programs that we offer in everything from sports to additional academics to drama.
