The Lady Falcons returned from Christmas Break anxious to extend their winning record to 7-2 on the season playing Lincoln West on Wednesday night. The game started off sloppy with both teams feeling the wear and tear of having a week off over Christmas Break. Lutheran East eventually found their groove and notched a huge 19 steals as a team for the night. Leading the way with her 4^th double-double for the season, Darjaney Edwards knocked down 18 points and had 10 rebounds on the night. The Lady Falcons also controlled the glass with senior Jeri Pollard pulling down 12 rebounds and sophomore Kaelin Cobb pulling in an additional 10. Guards Jamara McDowell and Faith Hardnick led the way in steals, taking 5 apiece. Lutheran East finished the game with a 13 point lead and moves to 7-2 on the year. Their next game will be against Whitney Young on the road January 14^th at 5:00 pm.
