Girls Track Team Shines at Laurel Invitational
On Saturday the Lady Falcons ran in the Dick Mann Invitational at Laurel. Brittany Holloway led the way for the Falcons as she placed 1st in the 100 meters with a time of 12.75 seconds. She finished second in the 200 meters and anchored the girls 4x100 relay team consisting of Zia Hall, Takea Smiley, and Kayla Perry to a 2nd place finish. Kayla Perry finished 4th in the 200 meters to cap if a fine day. The team of Zia Hall, Navasha Campbell, Adrianna Harris, and Jarvae Margerum finished 4th in the 4x200 meter relay. In the field Jeri Pollard was 2nd in the shot put and 4th in the discus for another very productive day. Good job to all the ladies who participated!
