We have had so many positive moments and successes at Lutheran East this year, but we are not done. On Friday, December 13, our choir performed live on the radio for the audience of AM 1220- WKNR. Our students performed very well while live on the radio. Everyone at school is so impressed with Mr. Lipford and the Life Everlasting Gospel Choir. In a world where the fine arts are so often ignored for their importance, it is refreshing to have a school where the fine arts is valued.
Also this week, our student council wraps up its canned food drive. This has been a great exercise in understanding the importance of giving to others. Student council is demonstrating great leadership in many ways this year. Developing good leaders is another way Lutheran East is helping build well-rounded students who can be very successful in college and beyond.
