Weekly Recap & Upcoming Events

It has been a week of testing! The tenth grade made it through four parts of the OGT (Ohio Graduation Test) with the fifth part rescheduled for Monday because of a snow day Wednesday. Even with the mornings filled with testing, students did a lot of learning in the afternoons. We are so proud of our students' dedication of being ready to both test and learn. All of us are looking forward to the results coming in the spring. We are also looking forward to the end of the third quarter next week on Friday, March 21st. Students and teachers continue to work diligently to improve grades even into next week. They are also excited to be thinking about the final nine weeks of the year—especially the seniors.

Next week, on Wednesday, March 19th, the Honors College Tour departs from the Lutheran East parking lot at 5:00 a.m. to meet with our sister school, Lutheran West. Students from both schools will spend three days visiting a variety of colleges including: West Point, Columbia University, Harvard and MIT. Students will also tour some attractions along the way including: West Point Museum, The New York Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, and The Freedom Trail in Boston. Students will be back Saturday night after the college tour, and they will probably be quite tired.
