Weekly Recap

Finally! We had a five-day week at Lutheran East since the weather decided to cooperate. Teachers and students have been working diligently this week to learn as much as possible. The tenth grade students continue to prepare for the Ohio Graduation Test, which is scheduled for mid-March. The juniors look forward to applying to their college of choice. The seniors realize that graduation is closer than ever as they work to keep good grades.

In addition to classroom learning, Mr. Loy took 40 students for a field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art where they were able to experience the beauty of art and have a chance to interact with the pieces in the holdings of the Cleveland Museum of Art. For fun, the juniors sold candy grams for 50 cents each. Everyone was excited when they were delivered at lunches on Friday.

Finally, Lutheran East was open on Thursday evening for parent-teacher conferences. The conferences were very well attended. Teachers and parents are building a great partnership, and we are excited they want to be a part of the educational experience.
