Lady Falcons Win Big On the Road
The Lutheran East Lady Falcons moved to 8-2 on the season with a 29 point win over Whitney Young on Wednesday night. The team posted a season high 3 girls all with double-digits on the scoreboard: Darjaney Edwards led the way with 17 points followed by Jazmyne Darby with 15 and Jeri Pollard with 13. Both Edwards and Pollard posted an impressive double-double double adding in 12 rebounds each for the night. The tenacious defense of the lady Falcons proved to be too much for Whitney Young with the starting 5 accounting for 21 steals on the night! The Lady Falcons now prepare for a tough game Thursday night against Youngstown Christian at 7:30 pm.
