It has been a great, short week at Lutheran East. We are all excited to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Students and teachers look forward to spending time with family and having a much needed rest to recharge for the last month of school. Before departing for break on Wednesday, Mr. Courtney's English students went to see As You Like It, a Shakespeare play, at the Hanna Theater. Many good discussions came from the experience as students began to see the true genius of Shakespeare as a playwright. Wednesday also brings the spring choir concert. Everlasting Life Gospel Choir excitedly presents the concert after nearly a whole school year's worth of work. Finally, this brings about the time of year when students select next year's classes and they become excited as they look forward to what new classes they will have next year. It is truly a refreshing and renewing time of the year.
