Spring Drama- One in a Million Announced
Spring Drama- One in a Million Announced

It has been an exciting three-day week at Lutheran East. After much cold weather, we are back in classes and having an exceptionally good week. The boys’s basketball team finished their regular season with Senior Night on Saturday, February 21st. For pictures, see our website or our Facebook page. Girls’ basketball hosted a playoff game, but, unfortunately, lost. The boys will host a playoff game next Tuesday. Re-registration is also in full swing as teachers a giving a call to our current students encouraging them to re-register for a reduced fee if the money is in by March 6th. We hope to have a large percentage of students return as has been the case in the last few years. We are so blessed to be able to serve our student body and their families.

Rehearsals for our spring play, One in a Million, are well underway. We have a sizeable cast of 20 students who are working through blocking and will have the first act memorized and ready to recite by next week. Plan to come join us at 7 p.m. on May 1st. This play is truly a hilarious comedy of lottery ticket drama. You are sure to be entertained. Mrs. Chiles and Mr. Courtney have also committed to a more rigorous rehearsal schedule this year because students are ready, willing, and able to put in the after school hours necessary to produce a great play. There will be some updates as the date draws closer.
