Weekly Recap - 5/22/2015

The end of the school year is filled with so many great things. This week has held many causes for celebration. Our school got great results back from the Ohio Graduation Tests that we took in March. Our students are performing very well and showing that the instruction here at Lutheran East is working to change their lives in a positive way. We are also celebrating the last week for the Senior Class of 2015. Just today, Friday, they practiced their commencement ceremony that will take place next Saturday, May 30th at 3:00 p.m. The seniors are also excited to have prom this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The end of the year is a culmination of many hopes and dreams. Some of these hopes and dreams were birthed a kindergarten when parents and students began the journey to graduation, and some were birthed at the beginning of the year and involve things like prom. Whatever the dreams may be, Lutheran East is a proud part of helping students accomplish what God ordained for them to accomplish even before they were born. We, of course, cannot leave out our spring choir concert where our Life Everlasting Gospel Choir gave a phenomenal performance to families and students. It is during this time that we truly reflect on how much impact the ministry God gave Lutheran East continues to grow in its influence in the community. It is wonderful to serve a great God!
