Wow!! It has been another hot week in Cleveland, but even so Lutheran East students are still striving toward excellence. The improvements around our building continue as well. Just this week, the roofers are replacing our skylights in both stairways. What a blessing to have the natural light that has not been seen here in decades. New skylights mean that yet another of our roofs is being replaced. This year we are working on the roof over our main classroom wing. Previously, we have completed the gymnasium roof as well as the auditorium roof. Our building continues to show life and vitality as we invest in repairing and in renewing the structure. These are truly exciting times in which God is working a blessing us.
Now to the students inside the building who are eagerly anticipating homecoming week next week. We have a week of fun planned from class pride colors to synchronized twinning. In addition to themed dress down, we will also have our annual Falcon Games competition where the classes compete against one another in various games. All of this leads up to a Friday football game as the Lutheran East Falcons take on St. John Ashtabula at 5:00 p.m. Join us for a great game! The Homecoming Dance is scheduled for the next day, Saturday, at 7:00 p.m. The week and the weekend promise to be a really exciting time for students and staff alike.
