Volleyball Season Ends on a Strong Performance
Volleyball Season Ends on a Strong Performance

The Lady Falcons came out really strong on Monday in their first round playoff game against Open Door. The Lady Falcons had been working hard to improve all season and really showed that they have in this game. Against the higher-seeded Patriots, the Lady Falcons held their own through most of the first set before falling 25-15. Jeri Pollard led the way with 4 service points. The Lady Falcons did a good job of hustling after every ball and not letting things hit the ground. It was a very well played first set. In the second set the Lady Falcons had a chance to take the set from the Patriots but ending up not quite having enough to pull it out. We were led by Kamilah Dotson with 4 service points. We also sided out their server 4 straight times. The Lady Falcons were in position to take the set and were up 18-17. But then could not quite keep up the pace as we lost the second set 25-19. The third set the Lady Falcons just made too many mistakes and ended up losing 25-9. We were led in serving again by Jeri Pollard with 3 service points. I want to thank the ladies for all of the hard work that they have put in this year. We had a great season of improvement and had some fun along the way. Great season Lady Falcons!
