Description: Students will study a variety of sculptural styles and sculptors. Working in the style of selected artists, students will create sculptures utilizing fabrication and plaster. Evaluation is based upon the quality of finished projects and student effort.
Digital Photography

Description: This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of digital photography as an art form. Students will explore the history of photography, understand the camera, manipulate and print their own images, along with mounting and presenting their own photographs. Emphasis will be placed upon interesting and unified photographic composition.
Fundamentals of Art

Description: This course is the basis for all other art classes. Theories of Art, Principles of Design, and Elements of Design will be the focus of this course. The student will explore a wide variety of media and styles of art including painting and drawing.
Graphic Design

Description: This technology course is for art students who are considering a career in Graphic Design and for those who enjoy working with technology for creative self-expression and design. Students will concentrate their efforts on design within the computer environment. Students will paint, draw, and manipulate images while learning to use a variety of graphic software programs.
