The Lutheran East Honors Academy mission is to challenge our students, through enrichment opportunities, to unlock their academic potential and grow into successful, lifelong, holistic, learners. Members of the Honors Academy who meet the expected graduation requirements will graduate from Lutheran East with a Distinguished Honors Diploma and special recognition of the advanced requirements they have met. The Honors Academy will offer students a variety of opportunities to excel in and outside of the classroom, experience various cultural and community outreach activities, and actively participate in national and international volunteer work and mission trips annually. Members of the Honors Academy will also be doing extensive college and career oriented research and internship based work throughout the community.

The goal of the Honors Academy is to provide high-achieving, driven students with opportunities that will bolster their college applications, help them develop into well-rounded young adults, and allow them to better compete nationally to get into elite level colleges.
