Volleyball Suffers Loss against Cleveland Central Catholic
The Lutheran East Lady Falcons traveled to Cleveland Central Catholic this afternoon and suffered a heartbreaking defeat. Lutheran East fell to CCC 3 sets to 0. The first set we lost 25-14, Shelly Gates served very well this and kept the team in the game. The second set the Falcons started off on a tear and we were up 17-10. Unfortunately, they couldn't keep the momentum going. We then struggled and lost the second set 25-19. After the tough loss in the second set, we had a little bit of a let-down in the third set and lost 25-13. Torrie Simmons also served well on this day. The team left feeling as though they should have won the day and look forward to a rematch coming up.
