On Friday December 16th your Lutheran East Falcons traveled to Willoughby, Ohio to take on former conference rival Cornerstone Christian Academy. This was a highly anticipated match up as the two teams split games the previous season. This game would come down to the closing seconds as both teams were tied at 61 with a little over 20 seconds left. The falcons committed a late foul that would result in the patriots taking a 63-61 lead. The falcons had one final shot at the victory but a long three pointer rimmed out for Lutheran East senior Tyler Powell and the falcons loss at the buzzard by a final score of 63-61.
