Student athletes at Lutheran East are held to high standards in the classroom as well as on the field, court, and track. As a school we work hard to recognize the young men and women that are excelling both in the classroom and on the field, and it is so encouraging when people outside of our immediate community recognize those same things.

Recently News Channel 5 highlighted the accomplishments of one of our standout student athletes, Tyra Eppinger in their Student Athlete of the Week segment. Tyra, a graduate of St. John Nottingham School, is a freshmen at Lutheran East and currently has the highest GPA (4.6) in her class having earned all A’s throughout her first semester. In addition to excelling in the classroom she has been a key piece of a strong Lady Falcons basketball team loaded with potential.
