Comeback fuels Lady Falcons Victory over Beachwood
The winners of two in a row, the Lady Falcons came in to Monday's game against the Lady Bison seeking to win another to stretch their winning streak to three games.
The Lady Bison and Falcons began the game with a rugged defensive first quarter with 9 total points scored. The score at the half was 21 to 15 with the Lady Falcons down going into the second half. After the break, the ladies of Lutheran East went on a run and scored 23 points in the third quarter. The final quarter was determined by free throws and who had the ball last. The Lady Bison fought their way back into the game and were down by 1 in the last few minutes of the game. That fight however was not enough as Alaya Henderson knocked down two free throws to ice the tightly contested game with the final score of 49 to 47.
Winning three games in a row and a record of 3-2 the Lady Falcons go into Wednesday's game against Warrensville on the confident to end the year with a winning record.
