Huge Game from Darjaney Edwards Keep Falcons Close in Season Opener

The Lady Falcons opened up their first game of the season on the road on Friday night against a tough shooting Western Reserve. It was a tale of two halves for the Falcons who started off the first quarter getting into some early foul trouble which led to having to pull 3 of 5 starters from the line up. Down 24 at halftime the Lady Falcons came roaring back in the 2nd half led by tenacious senior, Darjaney Edwards who finished the night with her first double-double of the season! Lutheran East won the 2nd half by 8 but the 1st half deficit proved to be too much to overcome so late in the game. Darjaney finished with a monster 29 points, 11 rebounds and 8 blocks. The Falcons now look to prepare for their next game on Tuesday, November 24th, against Max Hayes.
