The Lady Falcons took a tough loss on Tuesday night against a much improved Community Christian school. Lutheran East started off hot in their full court press getting 5 quick baskets and jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first 3 minutes of the first quarter. The tide quickly turned as Lutheran East couldn’t protect the ball and gave up 10 back to back points off of turnovers to quickly tie the game. Sharp shooting and better hustle in the second half brought the Lady Falcons back to within 10 halfway through the 4th quarter but it proved to be too late in the game to overcome the deficit. Jazmyne Darby dominated both ends of the floor finishing with 5 3’s for 15 points, 5 assists, and 7 steals on the game. Faith Hardnick added an additional 5 assists to the game as well. The Lady Falcons move to 2-3 on the season and get ready to play Beaumont at home this Thursday at 4:30 and 6 pm.
