Learning should not stop simply because students are out of school for the summer.  For this reason, all students at Lutheran High School East have a summer reading project.  The project varies by class, but will involve reading and then doing a series of writings about the books read.  There will also be a test on the readings early in the first quarter between the following dates: August 26th - September 13th.

All the books are readily available at local libraries.  Students who have their Chromebooks can download the books for free using the OverDrive website and their school accounts.   Students can log-in to OverDrive by visiting https://lutheraneast.libraryreserve.com/10/45/en/SignIn.htm?url=Default.htm Don't wait until the last minute to begin your Summer Reading!

It is time once again to embark on our Teacher Spotlight series.  Over the course of coming weeks, we will spend time highlighting the newer faculty here at Lutheran East.  We have an incredibly talented, thoughtful, and diverse group of faculty who contribute to the successes we experience as a school each year.

For the first Teacher Spotlight, we will feature Mr. Jason Becker, who teaches math and religion while also coaching Track.
